All Kidding Aside

We try to keep it light and interesting here. Today, however, the big shots of the blogosphere have asked we all put a little something up about Hurricane Katrina relief. My experience with the Salvation Army during the Mississippi River Flood of 1993 (when I was a young 1LT John...) has led me to choose them as the recipient of my donations. The Salvation Army is light on the overhead and bureaucracy, heavy on the "get-in-there-and-help." Please consider them as you make your decision on how to help.

UPDATE: As usual, the Instapundit has an excellent aid round-up.
